International Universities to be delivered via different mechanisms utilizing
new communications and networking technology.

Started a pilot project
with Virginia Tech where I remotely supervised Masters student at VT while
actually being in Cairo.
The project was successful and the student was awarded the degree in September
1998.

The workshop was held in cooperation between United
Arab Emirates University
and Drexel University, USA. The workshop covered the
Drexel and Arizona
experiment in teaching Engineering in a non-traditional fashion and stress on
the hands on activities from the very beginning.
